Buben & Zörweg don’t want to sell you a watch winder. They want to sell you a time mover. Or at least that’s what they claim in their brochure. As with many companies operating in the high-end horology sector, B&Z are somewhat prone to hyperbole. For example, “…the Time Mover does not simply store valuable watches… it enhances their value.” We’ll try to avoid mocking the marketing spin too much because in this price range (expect to pay a minimum of $4,000 USD for a 4-header) it’s understandable why there’s a desire to pour vaunting praise on the product.
For all the overblown linguistics on their site, Buben & Zörweg really excel at producing these types of winders. Although they do make an ‘In Safe’ line, their forte is much more in the realm of this ultra high-end display case. This particular version comes in 4 or 8 winder versions, with the bigger brother being slightly wider but with essentially the same basic characteristics.
